Jim and Jill Kavicky, owners of the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park campground in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, have been recognized as Operators of the Year by the Jellystone Park franchise system.
The Operator of the Year Award is given to the individual or team directly responsible for the day-to-day operation of a Camp-Resort in recognition of excellence in management. Evaluation criteria include customer service, inspection ratings, daily management and business growth.
“We appreciate LSI’s recognition of our hard work to improve the management and inspection ratings of our park over the eight years of ownership, and we’re grateful for their continued guidance and support,” said Jim Kavicky. “As a family that camped at our park before owning it, we are honored to have the opportunity to direct the operations of the park toward its original look and atmosphere to offer families an exceptional camping and entertainment experience.”
