JELLYSTONE PARK LOCATIONS ARE ADDING NEW ACTIVITIES AND WEEKEND THEMES THIS YEAR
Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts are famous for their activities, themed weekends, and Yogi Bear costumed characters.
But while some weekend themes like “Chocolate Lovers,” “Christmas in July,” and “Halloween Spooktaculars” takes place every year, new activities and weekend themes are constantly being introduced.
Here is a sampling of the new activities and weekend themes that will take place at various Jellystone Park locations across the country this year:
— Caledonia, Wisconsin: New activities at this location include a “Cinco de Mayo” theme weekend, May 6-8, in which guests can make mom a maraca for Mother’s Day, enjoy a Mexican hat dance, a human cactus relay ring toss, and play Spanish-style musical dots. Fall theme weekends at this location include a “Day of the Dead Fall Fiesta” Sept. 23-25 in which kids can enjoy creating a sugar skull mask, participating in a sugar skull relay race, and competing in a sugar skull face painting contest. https://www.jellystone-caledonia.com/
— Plymouth, Indiana: A new theme weekend at this location is “Glow Galore Weekend” May 15-18 with a glow-in-the-dark dance and glow hayrides. All activities that weekend will involve glow sticks. http://www.plymouthjellystone.com/
— Quarryville, Pennsylvania: This location will have a wizards and magic theme during the first three weeks of June. In addition to themed activities, magicians will perform at the park on June 4, 12, 18 and 22. https://jellystonepa.com/
— Tabor City, North Carolina: For the first time in several years, this location will have a “Reeling in the Fun Weekend” May 20-22, which will include fishing tournaments, crafts, and gummy worm eating contests. https://taborcityjellystone.com/
— Williamsport, Maryland: At this location, Santa will be hosting a trivia night during the park’s annual Christmas in July weekends, July 23 and 30. The park also works with artists to develop face painting, caricature drawing, and paint night activities each week during the summer months.
