Some Northern locations with later opening dates will have Easter activities in May and June 

Easter egg decorating contests, egg relays, egg hunts with Yogi Bear, visits by the Easter Bunny and Easter-themed games are just a few of the many activities that await families at Jellystone Park Camp-Resort locations across the country during Easter weekend.

"Yogi Bear himself is known to frequent many of our Easter egg hunts, and sometimes the Easter Bunny himself makes an appearance," said Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, the Southfield, Michigan-based company that franchises Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts.

Here's a sampling of Easter activities at Jellystone Park locations across the U.S. and Canada:

California

- Lodi: Guests at this location can enjoy an exciting egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, and experience the magic of Easter.

Georgia

- Bremen: Easter activities at this location include creative egg decorating contests, egg hunts, and delicious springtime treats. 

Indiana 

- Knightstown: Activities the weekend of April 18-20 at this location include the waking of Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and Cindy Bear from hibernation, Easter egg decorating, egg tossing, and an epic egg hunt.

Maine

- Madison: This location celebrates Easter May 16-18 with Easter crafts, an exciting egg hunt, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. 

Michigan

- Frankenmuth: This location celebrates Easter with Easter egg coloring, crafts and an Easter egg hunt. 

Mississippi

- Pelahatchie: This location's "Easter Eggstravaganza Weekend" is full of "eggs"citing games, egg hunts, egg decorating, Easter-themed crafts, and colorful egg hunts. 

North Carolina

- Bostic: An egg hunt and a visit by the Easter Bunny are among the activities scheduled at this location.  

- Tabor City: Traditional Easter activities are planned for Easter weekend at this location. There will be games of Chocolate Bunny Bingo. Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, or Cindy Bear will also be delivering Easter baskets. 

Ohio

- North Lawrence: Easter is the time when Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and Cindy Bear wake up from hibernation at this location. Guests will not only be able to create their own noisemaker for the noisemaker parade to wake up the characters, but also participate in an exciting egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny. 

Texas

- Burleson: Easter weekend is packed with activities at this location, such as Easter-themed crafts, a marshmallow eating contest, a scavenger hunt, and a sack race relay. There will also be an Easter egg hunt on Sunday morning.  

- Canyon Lake: Guests can hop into a fun-filled Easter celebration at this location with an exciting egg hunt that includes meeting the Easter Bunny.

- Fredericksburg: This location's annual Easter activities include crafts, games, Easter egg dying, outdoor movies, and an Easter egg hunt with thousands of filled eggs. 

Virginia 

— Chincoteague: This location celebrates Easter April 18-19 with egg decorating and egg hunts with Yogi Bear, Cindy Bear and Boo Boo. 

Canada 

- Woodstock, New Brunswick: An Easter egg hunt is scheduled for May 30 to June 1 at this location, which kicks off the summer camping season with its annual waking of the bears event. Guests can bring their homemade noisemakers to the pots and pans pet parade which is certain to wake up Yogi Bear, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear. Other activities scheduled for this weekend include a "Pampered People Pet Show," in which guests dress up as their favorite pet and do pet impersonations.
