If you grew up in the Southeast, chances are the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area was your idea of nirvana. And autumn is the perfect time to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains and the hundreds of family attractions that surround this destination. From hiking, horseback riding and leaf-spotting on rugged mountain trails, to Dollywood, Hillbilly Golf, the Ripley’s Aquarium and Believe It or Not Museum, and the world-class dining and shopping of Gatlinburg itself (don’t miss the Pigeon Forge outlet malls), absolutely everyone enjoys this spectacular region.
And as always, Yogi Bear™ is right in the middle of the fun. The Great Smoky Jellystone™ Park Campground is nestled at the edge of the national park and is a relaxing haven only minutes from the hustle bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Guests can bring their RVs or tents, or book a rental cabin. This year the park added Mr. Ranger’s Cabin, a restored historical log cabin that’s available for rent year-round. While you’re there enjoy the kids’ activities, game room, mini golf, Yogi Bear’s theater, a playground and more. The Great Smoky Mountain Jellystone Park is open through November 29, and every weekend between now and then is packed with wholesome fall fun.

Nov 25th Thanksgiving Day
Let’s gather together and give thanks with a potluck! Bring your favorite thanksgiving dish and we will supply the turkeys. Do we have any volunteers out there who would want to help cook the turkeys? Be careful, Yogi Bear will be out for his share of the feast!
