Father’s Day, June 20, 2010, is right around the corner. This year, give Dad the gift of great memories by staying at a Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, many of which have special events planned just for Dad.
Mill Run, PA – Mill Run hosts an annual Father’s Day Miss Jellystone Pageant where you can doll up your dad to compete for bragging rights and the “Miss Jellystone” title. The weekend also features competitions to see if Dad can outsmart, outrun or out eat his kids with bug eating, mud slinging events.
Cherokee, NC – Activities include a special ‘Dads Only’ frozen t-shirt contest, Dads vs. Kids tug-of-war, and a Father’s Day hot dog cook out.
Sturgeon Bay, WI – Cheer your Dad on in the Jellystone “Big Splash” contest or the chocolate pudding eating contest. Then, challenge your Dad at mini-golf, where he’ll receive a complimentary game.
North Java, NY – Bring your remote controlled boats and cars for the RC Races on the Yogi course, or bring a box and decorate your own unique race car to compete for prizes in Jellystone’s unique family race! The Father and Son/Daughter look-a-like contest and competition is always a winner as well.
Austin, MN – Dad’s can compete in the 2nd annual Father’s Day Golf Cart Rodeo (loner carts available) or horseshoe tourney. After that, Dad’s can join the Jellystone Park staff for the annual Dads’ get-together pool side.
Whether it’s cheering your Dad onto victory in a race or tournament, or laughing it up alongside Mom as Dad struts his stuff in a t-shirt contest or beauty pageant, one thing is for sure! Dad will have a Father’s Day full of memories he’ll cherish forever.
