When visiting our RV campgrounds in Cooperstown , you will be just minutes away from the ultimate baseball museum – The Hall of Fame. For true fans of baseball, a lifetime would not be complete without a trip to Cooperstown. You and your family will love walking up and down the halls, viewing memorabilia from America’s pastime. There is no better way to regale your children with stories from yesteryear than in one of America’s most hallowed museums. You could spend all weekend here if you wanted to, but we know that the attractions at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Parks will keep you busy as well.
Ralph Wilson Stadium
The Buffalo Bills are one of the NFL’s most storied franchises. They play their home games at the legendary Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo NY. During the summer off season, the stadium is open for tours, allowing your family to explore the turf where legends have been created. Walk up and down the player’s tunnels. View the “Ring of Honor” which contains all of the greatest players who ever donned a Buffalo Bills Uniform. You can view the in-stadium museum and gift shop before heading back to the nearby campground in North Java NY.
Madison Square Garden
Take the short trip to downtown New York City from our family RV campground in Gardiner and experience an architectural and cultural wonder. Primarily the Home of the New York Knicks basketball team and New York Rangers Hockey Team, this famous arena has also seen world championship boxing matches, tennis matches, and various other sporting events. It is a “Must See” for any sporty family traveling to the New York City area. Tours are available on a limited basis, but you would be better off trying to catch a game. There is something going on just about all year round at Madison Square Garden. After the event, you are just a short drive away from your family campground — Make a day of it!
