As record-breaking winter snows continue to snarl much of the northeastern part of the United States, a look in a southerly direction shows hope for the spring! Jellystone Park™ campgrounds are excited to welcome an outstanding new campground to our family in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. If you’re worn out with cold and ice, planning a visit to this upscale campground is sure to perk up your spirits!
Just minutes from the many attractions of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, you’ll find the new Jellystone Park campground in Burleson, Texas. Formerly known as Rustic Creek Ranch, this campground is well-recognized for its top-grade resort amenities, its group accommodations and its 37 truly unique cottages. With 248 full-service sites (including 81 situated on their patent-pending, extra-spacious “V-Pod” lots) four group facilities, there is plenty of room for you, your entire family and every friend you’ve ever met.
Two resort-style family pools, plus one adults-only pool with a separate hot tub, welcome guests to this oasis of tranquility nestled on 69 acres and sheltered by pecan trees that have been standing for more than a century. Notice the unusual metal animal sculptures that dot the carefully landscaped property, and take full advantage of the many amenities, including a pet run and playground; four Laundromats; a gift and grocery shop; game room with games, free DVD rentals, books and TV; free WiFi connections; barbecue areas and more.
The luxury cottage rentals offer designer décor drawn from Old Mexico, the Southwest or the East Texas piney woods. Most include intimate spas and romantic stone fireplaces. All offer soft fluffy beds, satellite TV, and hi-speed internet; some are even pet-friendly. While there’s plenty to do onsite, you’re very close to some of the coolest spots in Texas for exploring: Dallas/Ft. Worth, Old Town Burleson, and Glen Rose. The Texas Motor Speedway, Six Flags over Texas and Hurricane Harbor water park are a half-hour drive away, while the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers play less than an hour down the interstate. The campground is open year-round.
