Hide your pic-a-nic baskets! Yogi Bear has taken residence at the new Jellystone Park campground in Minnesota.
Located near Austin, it is one of the biggest campgrounds in Minnesota with over 300 campsites. Formerly named Beaver Trails Campground, the southern Minnesota RV park opened its doors for the season on April 15.
Owners Don and Laura Tolner are thrilled to be a part of the Jellystone Park system. “We’re now part of a family of elite park owners,” said Laura Tolner. “Park owners from across the country have offered us advice and shared their enthusiasm for this brand. We are excited to offer guests a whole new Jellystone Park experience.”
Campground amenities include something for everyone to enjoy. Water-lovers will be amazed at the number of aquatic activities including three large individual waterslides in the slide pool, a separate large swimming pool and a kiddy pool. Several camping sites are near ponds and creeks and fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the fully stocked ponds. Campers also will be busy on land with mini golf, a train station, hayrides, petting pens, horseshoes and bean bag throws, kids crafts, karaoke and much more.
