On Monday, August 21, 2017, North America will experience a solar eclipse where the moon passes between the sun and earth and blocks all or part of the sun for up to about three hours. Depending on where you are you located, you could witness this historic event happen firsthand! The solar eclipse will start in Oregon and end in South Carolina. While there is a only small path that will see complete totality, there is a lot of people who will see a partial eclipse!

We have 2 Jellystone Parks that are in the totality path, and 13 parks that will see 90% or more of the eclipse! It’s not too late to make plans to visit and enjoy this phenomenon at a Jellystone Park!
